We love Poopsie here at Constant HQ — that sounds very official, doesn’t it? The school summer term ends on 23 July 2020, which means no more logging into the school app for homework. We’re planning for a September return, so we want the children to have a fun summer full of activities. This is perfect for slime fans: #PoopsieTimeforSlime.
Slime gives hours of messy, creative play. There’s something about messy play that draws kids in and keeps them entertained. It’s a brilliant boredom-buster during the holidays. Our goal was simple: make our own slime and have fun with the Poopsie toys.
The kids started by opening the Poopsie sets, which include the “magic” ingredients for slime. We tried a Poopsie Sparkly Critters, Poopsie Rainbow Surprise Makeup Surprise, and Cutie Tooties Surprise. The children loved discovering the characters hidden in each kit. It was great to see both Noah and Isla enjoying the toys and the slime-making process.
Next we added craft extras to make the slime as colourful and playful as possible—handfuls of glitter, pom poms, and multi-coloured slime. After making the base slime from the toys, the kids mixed in their extras to create super slime. So much fun!
Do your kids love slime? Get them making their own creations this summer. Share them on Instagram with #PoopsieTimeforSlime and tag @poopsieslimesurprise — it’s a fun way to keep them busy for a couple of hours.
