Has May flown by for anyone else? I’m already looking forward to summer and what June will bring. Here’s a little roundup of my favourite photos from everyone who took part in the May photo challenge using #mummyphotoaday.
There were so many lovely entries — beautiful spring scenes and warm family moments. I could easily have picked nine more. A huge thank you to everyone who tagged their photos.
Sarah (@mummuddlingthrough) from Kent shared a photo that really struck me; her caption about siblings growing closer during lockdown was so touching. Katy (@otisandus.blog) captured a sweet birthday moment for her daughter — lockdown birthdays have shown such creativity to make celebrations special. Tanya (@socalshopgirl384) sent this glorious Californian sky — I rarely see pink skies here, so it stood out. The @van_life_family_ account always makes me smile — their Norfolk coastline shot is stunning and makes me want a camper van. I loved the photo from @ceeleah_and_the_small_humans, too — that tee supporting the NHS and key workers is beautiful, and all the rainbow-themed items have been such a comforting sight.
The sunset fun from @norfolk_kinsfolk was lovely — with a family of nine, their photos always feel full of life. @beautifully_defected is a new favourite this month; the creativity in their butterfly photo is amazing. @newmummyblog brightens the grid with family life, fitness ideas, and gorgeous garden flowers. And Ella at @typicalmummy captured a magical dandelion moment — those little things can feel so special.
Thank you to everyone who joined the May Photo Challenge 2020. I can’t wait to see the beautiful photos shared in June.
