Prevent dust buildup on your TV stand
Dust tends to collect on TV stands more than on other surfaces because electronic devices and static attract and hold particles. You can’t eliminate dust completely, but you can cut down on how much builds up and make cleaning easier.

An air purifier in the living room removes many airborne dust particles, so you’ll see less settling on your TV unit. They’re also helpful for people with allergies, especially during peak pollen seasons.

The material and color of your TV stand affect how noticeable dust is. Glass and dark finishes show dust more clearly, and glass is harder to keep clean. Choosing a white or wood finish will hide dust better and make wiping easier.

Vacuuming regularly reduces overall dust levels. A vacuum with a HEPA filter is best because it traps small particles instead of blowing them back into the air. Aim to vacuum at least once a week.

For the stand itself, use a microfibre cloth and a dusting spray. Spray the cleaner onto the cloth, then wipe the surface—microfibre grabs the dust and the spray helps keep it from resettling. If some dust remains, use a vacuum attachment to remove it.

With these steps, your living room and TV stand will stay cleaner and require less constant maintenance.
