Welcome to the August 2020 photo challenge — and a big thank you to everyone who joined in during July. Last month’s photos were wonderful: blue skies, fluffy clouds and lots of outdoor fun. It was lovely to see people venturing beyond their gardens.
The August prompts come from the community, so it’s great to include everyone’s ideas. With the possibility of a second lockdown, I’ve kept the new prompts broad and flexible, just in case. Still, I hope we’ll enjoy family outings, see some sights and have a bit of downtime after a stressful few months of homeschooling and juggling.
Thank you for being part of this photo challenge for over two years — I really love it. It’s addictive, and there are already more than 5,000 photos under our hashtag. I hope more people join in. I love how everyone interprets the daily themes differently; the images have made me smile, and I’m excited to compile a roundup of my favourites. Your support means so much to my photography journey.
