We first visited Eurocamp over the Easter holidays, staying at La Croix du Vieux Pont near Paris, and had a fantastic time. We’re returning this Easter and hoping for an even better break.
This time we’re heading to Paris and remembered La Croix du Vieux Pont as a perfect stopover, so we’re spending a long weekend there before moving on. It’s about 90 minutes from Paris and roughly two and a half hours from Calais, which makes it a great in-between spot.
One of the reasons we chose Eurocamp again is their last-minute deals — they often offer up to 20% off selected holidays under £300 for Easter and the May half term (terms and conditions apply).
The site itself is lovely: several pools, a lake, a man-made beach, plenty of activities and places to eat. It looked magical at night last time, with the lodges lit up and the lights reflecting on the water. I’m looking forward to exploring more of the site this year.
Last Easter we arrived on the day the camp opened, so the pool was still cold, and my husband hurt his back and couldn’t walk properly for a week. I’m hoping this year the pool will be warm and he’ll be active so we can make the most of the activities and facilities. I can’t wait to show you around our lodge and share what we get up to — I’ll be posting Instagram stories over the Easter holidays.
