Isla has been attending Gymfinity Kids in Milton Keynes since lockdown ended, and she absolutely loves it. They run both gymnastics and Ninja classes for very young children, and Saturday mornings have become her favourite time of the week.
Since joining, I’ve watched her confidence grow. She’s gone from clinging to my side around strangers to bounding onto the gym floor with a huge smile, excited for class. She uses the equipment with confidence, calls out to me to watch the best bits, and has made lovely friends she can’t wait to see each week.
If you want to avoid the joining fee (which can be up to £30), use my code MUMMY100 when you sign up.
Isla is working toward her Level 6 and takes a two-hour class every Saturday, which gives her time to warm up and refine her skills. The classes follow a circuit around the gym so children try all the equipment — beams, bars, trampolines, and the bouncy floor are all part of the routine. I get regular emails about her progress, and they hold award ceremonies where the kids proudly collect certificates.
Gymnastics has also helped Isla’s dance and cheerleading; the skills complement each other nicely. If you haven’t tried Gymfinity Kids yet, check for a local club and don’t forget the discount code MUMMY100.
