Welcome to the August 2020 photo challenge, and thank you to everyone who joined in July. Last month’s photos were wonderful — bright blue skies, big fluffy clouds and plenty of outdoor fun. It was lovely to see people getting out beyond their gardens. The August prompts were gathered from the community, so they include lots of everyone’s great ideas.
With a possible return to stricter restrictions, I’ve kept the new prompts as general as possible. Still, I’m hopeful we’ll squeeze in some family days out, see new sights and enjoy a bit of downtime after the tough months of homeschooling and juggling everything.
Thank you for sticking with this challenge for over two years — it’s become addictive! There are over 5,000 photos using the hashtag, which is amazing. I love how everyone interprets the daily themes differently; the variety has made me smile. I’m really looking forward to putting together a roundup of favourites.
