Welcome to the July 2020 photo challenge — and a huge thank you to everyone who took part in June. I love seeing your pictures and meeting new faces. This month’s theme is Summer, with a nod to life in lockdown, and I’m excited to see what you capture.
July brings full-on summer and the school holidays. For many families this term has meant homeschooling while juggling work, which hasn’t been easy, but I’ve enjoyed helping the kids and have learned a surprising amount. We’ve studied the Victorian era, explored William Morris, read Harry Potter and The Sword in the Stone, and I’ve even remembered more maths than I expected. I’ll be a little sad when this chapter ends. Below are the photo prompts for the July photo challenge 2020.
Thank you for sticking with this challenge for over two years — it’s become quite addictive. There are more than 5,000 photos tagged so far, which is incredible. I hope more people join in. I love the subjective side of the challenge: everyone interprets each prompt differently, and seeing those different perspectives makes me smile. I’m really looking forward to rounding up my favourites. Thank you for supporting my photography journey.
